Etsy Scraper & Shop Monitor (Beta)

Etsy shows a competitor's listings, prices, sales count and reviews to anyone, but not what changed since yesterday. This Etsy scraper checks the shops you follow and reports only the differences. It is in beta: Etsy blocks some pages, and blocked pages are not charged.

What it does

Add competitor shops by name or URL, and individual listings if you want to follow specific products. On each run the tool reads the shops' listing pages, compares them with the previous run and reports:

  • New listings and removed listings.
  • Price changes, optionally only above a minimum change in percent.
  • Sales that started or ended.
  • Stock: listings that sold out or came back.
  • Shop sales: changes in the shop's total sales counter.
  • Reviews: new shop reviews and changes in a listing's review count.

Pick only the change types you care about. By default the first run records each shop as a starting point, so later runs report only changes. No Etsy login is needed.

Etsy protects its pages against bots. The tool uses a stealth browser and residential proxies, from the US by default, and still cannot open every page; a blocked page is reported but not charged.

Who uses it

  • Etsy sellers who want to know when a competitor launches a product, changes a price or starts a sale.
  • Product researchers following what sells in a niche, through shop sales counts and new reviews.
  • Brands and agencies watching resellers, lookalike listings or a client's competitors on Etsy.

How it works

  1. Add competitor shops, and listing URLs for specific products. Optionally choose which change types to report and a minimum price change.

  2. Run it once to record each shop as a starting point.

  3. Schedule it daily and get only the changes, by email, in Slack or Google Sheets, through a webhook, or as JSON, CSV or Excel.

Pricing

Pay per use on Apify. No subscription from us.

  • $0.01per run
  • $0.06per shop pageup to 36 listings
  • $0.06per listinglisting URLs you follow directly
  • $2.00per 1,000 change rows

Blocked pages, summary and error rows are free. Watching 5 shops daily at 3 pages each, with about 20 changes in total, costs $0.01 + 15 × $0.06 + 20 × $0.002, about $0.95 a day. Reading fewer pages per shop makes it cheaper.

Limits

  • In beta. Etsy blocks some pages even with residential IPs and a stealth browser; those pages are skipped and not charged.
  • Slow: each shop takes 30 to 90 seconds.
  • Only the first pages of each shop are read, three by default, in the shop's own order. In big shops a new or removed listing further down can be missed.
  • Sales are counted for the whole shop, not per listing, because that is all Etsy shows.

FAQ

Why is it in beta?

Etsy's protection against bots blocks some pages, even through residential proxies. The tool reports what it could not read and does not charge for it.

Can I see how many sales a listing made?

No. Etsy shows a sales count for the whole shop only, so the tool reports changes in that shop total.

Can I follow specific products instead of whole shops?

Yes. Add listing URLs and the tool checks those listings on each run, at $0.06 per listing.

Can I ignore small price changes?

Yes. Set a minimum price change in percent, and smaller moves are not reported.

Do I need an Etsy account?

No. The tool reads public shop and listing pages, without a login.
